This company specializes in designing and manufacturing industrial HVAC systems for offshore rigs, chemical plants, refineries, and specialized facilities across the globe.

What’s Offered

• Salary: $90,000 – $125,000 (up to $135,000+ for 8+ years experience)
• Bonus: Up to $15,000 (company performance + individual)
• Work Schedule: Mon–Thurs: 9-hour days, Fri: Half Day

Role Overview

As a Project Engineer, you'll work closely with the Engineering department to deliver HVAC project designs that meet technical and scheduling requirements. You'll own aspects of HVAC system selection, mechanical layout, ductwork, and coordination with electrical designers, while ensuring scope and budget alignment throughout the lifecycle of each project.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform HVAC system design including heat load verification, airflow calculations, and mechanical layout
• Select system components and develop ductwork with noise, pressure loss, and sizing calculations
• Produce detailed mechanical drawings for procurement and manufacturing
• Work with electrical designers to create drawings for power and control systems
• Collaborate with customers during the design process to ensure technical accuracy
• Review drawing submittals and prepare Bill of Materials
• Participate in final design reviews and ensure compliance with all specifications
• Use AutoCAD for drafting and layout

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience as a Project Engineer or similar HVAC-focused engineering role
• Strong understanding of HVAC component selection and system design
• Comfort with AutoCAD and mechanical drawing development
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills
• PLC knowledge is a strong plus
