HVAC Service Technician II – Baltimore, MD – Up to $58/hr + Overtime – Company Vehicle Included!

Overview:

We are a regional leader in building automation, energy systems, and HVAC services, is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician II for its growing team based in Baltimore, MD. This role covers the greater DMV area and is ideal for experienced technicians with a strong mechanical and electrical background in HVAC service and preventative maintenance.

• Hourly Rate: $40.00 – $58.00/hr (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, modify, and install HVAC systems, including compressors, chillers, pumps, condensers, boilers, and valves.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose faults and repair/rebuild HVAC units, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Handle wiring, control upgrades, and installation of thermostats, relays, and fan control systems.
• Conduct boiler testing and perform water quality treatment as needed.
• Install copper tubing, repair and insulate piping for refrigeration systems.
• Maintain detailed service records including time, labor, and materials used.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an HVAC Service Technician or equivalent field role.
• Active Maryland HVAC Journeyman License (required).
• Universal EPA Certification (required).
• Strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
