Job Details
- Position: Lead HVAC Design Engineer
- Location: Tri-Cities, WA (Kennewick area)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all engineering aspects of HVAC projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with stakeholders and sales teams to develop HVAC and plumbing solutions
- Prepare engineering budgets and design strategies for proposed and active projects
- Use Revit and AutoCAD to design ductwork, piping systems, and equipment layouts
- Perform HVAC load calculations and ensure proper sizing of systems and components
- Review and approve submittals, ensuring compliance with design and specifications
- Stay up to date on mechanical codes, standards, and new technologies
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with field teams for seamless execution
What you bring:
- Previous experience as a Lead HVAC Design Engineer or similar role
- PE license highly preferred, but not required
- Strong background in HVAC systems design and engineering analysis
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and mechanical load calculation tools
- Ability to communicate clearly across teams and manage multiple design projects
