Job Details

• Position: Lead HVAC Design Engineer
• Location: Tri-Cities, WA (Kennewick area)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all engineering aspects of HVAC projects from concept to completion
• Collaborate with stakeholders and sales teams to develop HVAC and plumbing solutions
• Prepare engineering budgets and design strategies for proposed and active projects
• Use Revit and AutoCAD to design ductwork, piping systems, and equipment layouts
• Perform HVAC load calculations and ensure proper sizing of systems and components
• Review and approve submittals, ensuring compliance with design and specifications
• Stay up to date on mechanical codes, standards, and new technologies
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with field teams for seamless execution

What you bring:

• Previous experience as a Lead HVAC Design Engineer or similar role
• PE license highly preferred, but not required
• Strong background in HVAC systems design and engineering analysis
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and mechanical load calculation tools
• Ability to communicate clearly across teams and manage multiple design projects
