Market Sector Leader – K-12 – Los Angeles, CA – Up to $180K + Hybrid Flexibility

About the Role:

An award-winning national architecture and engineering firm is seeking a Market Sector Leader to drive growth and strategy for their K-12 practice in the Los Angeles metro area. This high-impact leadership role will focus on new business development, client relationship management, and project oversight for K-12 educational facility design.

Key Offerings:

• Salary: $118,500 – $181,500
• Bonus: Discretionary, performance-based
• Schedule: Hybrid work model

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic growth and market positioning for K-12 facilities in Southern California
• Oversee business development efforts and foster new client relationships
• Manage proposals, contracts, and negotiations for professional services
• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams on targeting strategies
• Track opportunities, sales, and revenue to drive business goals
• Establish key relationships with state and local education agencies
• Guide project delivery, resourcing, budgeting, and quality standards

Preferred Background:

• Degree in Architecture or current PE license required
• 10+ years of experience in architectural design, engineering, or education facility management
• Strong leadership, communication, and client development skills
• Track record in delivering K-12 design or construction projects
