About the Opportunity:

A top-tier architectural and engineering design firm is seeking a Bridge Engineer (PE) to join their growing Quad Cities team. This position is ideal for an experienced structural or bridge engineer who wants to play a key role in delivering innovative civil structure solutions and expanding the firm’s footprint in the region.

Position Highlights:

• Title: Bridge Engineer
• Location: Quad Cities, IA
• Salary: $90,000 – $115,000
• Bonus: Discretionary
• Overtime: Paid out every two weeks
• Profit Sharing: Yes
• PE License: Required (or must be able to obtain within 12 months)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design bridges, box culverts, retaining walls, tunnels, and other infrastructure projects
• Develop calculations, design plans, and technical specifications
• Conduct field inspections and structural evaluations
• Use tools such as OpenBridge Modeler, OpenRoads Designer, and MicroStation
• Prepare construction schedules, cost estimates, and project reports
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Manage project deliverables and support QA/QC efforts

Preferred Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in bridge or structural engineering
• Strong technical and project management skills
• Experience in both design and rehabilitation of bridges or large structures
• Proficiency with industry design and modeling software
