Position Details:
- Title: Sales Engineer
- Location: Fort Myers, FL (Office-based with local customer travel)
- Salary: $70,000 – $90,000
- Bonus: Biannual profit-based bonus (up to $7,000 annually)
- Performance Reviews: Twice per year with raise consideration
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sales and account management teams with quotes, project planning, and client communications
- Generate leads through calls, emails, and market research
- Assist with technical support, quoting, and product recommendations
- Partner with sales managers to execute customer-specific project strategies
- Ensure client needs are addressed promptly and accurately
- Help forecast sales performance and maintain CRM accuracy
- Occasionally visit project sites or client offices as needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement in the sales process and client success
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, HVAC Account Manager, or Controls support role
- Working knowledge of HVAC/R systems and controls (sensors, software, controllers)
- Ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Excel-based quoting tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
