We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading MEP Engineering firm based in Orinda, CA. This firm operates across 25+ states and is known for its tenured team, strong leadership, and down-to-earth work culture with excellent work-life balance.

Position Overview:

• Title: Electrical Engineer
• Location: Orinda, CA (East Bay)
• Salary: $100,000 – $160,000 (Depending on Experience Level)

Ideal Candidate:

• Positive attitude, team-oriented, and collaborative
• Experience in MEP Engineering or Architecture & Planning
• Preferred: E.I.T. or P.E. license
• Proficient in Revit or AutoCAD
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Background in any of the following industries is a plus: Electrical Engineering, Power Management/Distribution, Energy, Lighting, Solar, or Construction

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and plan electrical systems using Revit and AutoCAD
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Energy, and Civil Engineers on energy-efficient building solutions
• Perform building load calculations and electrical equipment sizing
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders and subcontractors
• Review and approve subcontractor submittals and documentation
• Ensure quality control and code compliance throughout the project
• Occasional job site visits as needed
