HVAC Estimator – Edina, MN – $115K–$160K+ (Depending on Experience) – Established MEP Contractor

About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly motivated HVAC Estimator to join a respected MEP firm with deep roots in the Edina, MN market. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in mechanical/HVAC estimation who wants to join a supportive, growth-oriented team in a well-established company.

Position Overview:

• Title: HVAC Estimator
• Location: Edina, MN
• Industry Focus: Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Government, Industrial
• Project Types: New Construction, Retrofit, Service

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform take-offs, compile project estimates, and prepare detailed scope sheets
• Generate and manage bid documents and estimate spreadsheets
• Collaborate with the sales team during the preconstruction phase
• Estimate labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
• Review vendor submittals for accuracy and alignment with bid documents
• Interpret mechanical plans, RFQs, RFPs, and specifications
• Build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in HVAC or mechanical estimation
• Strong technical background in HVAC systems and drawings
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with estimating tools and Excel-based workflows

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $115,000 – $160,000+ (Based on Experience)
