A nationally respected A/E firm is hiring a Market Sector Leader – Higher Education to drive strategic growth, lead business development, and oversee delivery excellence for higher education projects. This is a hybrid-remote leadership opportunity with office options in Denver, CO. H1B sponsorship is available for qualified candidates with a PE license.

Position Details:

Ideal Candidate:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license – required
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Strong leadership and client-facing experience in the Higher Education sector
• Proven ability to drive business development, lead strategy, and deliver profitable growth
• Skilled in contract negotiation, proposal development, and team leadership
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic growth and positioning of the Higher Education market sector
• Oversee business development, marketing strategies, and sector visibility
• Collaborate with Managing Principals on project acquisition, delivery, and client engagement
• Define and manage service delivery models, team structures, and project schedules
• Serve as a key spokesperson in client meetings, professional groups, and public forums
• Direct tracking of opportunities, sales, and revenue for continuous growth
• Manage annual sector budgets and forecasting efforts

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $126,000–$236,500
• Bonus: Discretionary
