VRF Technician – Dallas, TX – Up to $60/hr. + Company Vehicle – Leading HVAC Distribution & Service Firm
About the Opportunity:
This company is North America's largest independent built-to-order commercial and industrial HVAC distributor, is seeking a skilled VRF Technician in Dallas, TX. This hands-on field role supports new installations, service, and maintenance for Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) HVAC systems.
Position Details:
- Title: VRF Technician
- Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (Some regional travel within 150-mile radius)
- Status: Full-Time | Field-Based
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, service, and maintain VRF systems for commercial and industrial clients
- Test and troubleshoot newly installed or existing HVAC equipment
- Interpret and apply blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Diagnose system issues and perform repairs efficiently
- Identify risks and provide preventative maintenance to extend system lifespan
- Collaborate with contractors, end users, and building owners to ensure satisfaction
- Provide emergency repair support as needed
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience as a VRF Technician or HVAC Technician
- Strong understanding of VRF systems
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC components and controls
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and customer communication
- Comfortable in both independent and team-based work environments

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: Up to $60/hr. (based on experience)
- Bonus: $1,000 added to 401k for safety compliance
