A well-established full-service mechanical and electrical consulting firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Designer to join their Rochester, MN office. Position Details:
- Title: Electrical Engineer/Designer
- Location: Rochester, MN
- Work Schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems using Revit for commercial, healthcare, and institutional buildings
- Create detailed plans and specifications for power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
- Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop, and lighting calculations
- Conduct site visits for existing condition assessments and construction observations
- Collaborate directly with project engineers and design teams
- Participate in client meetings and provide consultation on design solutions
- Prepare technical specifications, sequence of operations, and testing documentation
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as an Electrical Engineer/Designer in building systems design
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and design standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $75,000 – $115,000 (Depending on Experience)
