A reputable full-service MEP consulting firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Designer to join their team in Sioux Falls, SD. Position Details:

• Title: Mechanical Engineer/Designer
• Location: Sioux Falls, SD
• Work Schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems for commercial, healthcare, and institutional buildings
• Develop construction documents including drawings, specifications, and schedules using Revit and AutoCAD
• Perform HVAC load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, and equipment selection based on project scope and code compliance
• Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, plumbing, and architectural disciplines
• Conduct field surveys to verify existing conditions and provide support during construction phases
• Respond to RFIs and review equipment submittals as part of the construction administration process

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience as a Mechanical Engineer/Designer in building system design
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems and applicable building codes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Collaborative and detail-oriented approach to engineering projects

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $75,000 – $115,000 (Depending on Experience)
