Position Details:
- Title: Mechanical Engineer/Designer
- Location: Sioux Falls, SD
- Work Schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems for commercial, healthcare, and institutional buildings
- Develop construction documents including drawings, specifications, and schedules using Revit and AutoCAD
- Perform HVAC load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, and equipment selection based on project scope and code compliance
- Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, plumbing, and architectural disciplines
- Conduct field surveys to verify existing conditions and provide support during construction phases
- Respond to RFIs and review equipment submittals as part of the construction administration process
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a Mechanical Engineer/Designer in building system design
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and applicable building codes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Collaborative and detail-oriented approach to engineering projects
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $75,000 – $115,000 (Depending on Experience)
