Sr. Electrical Engineer (PE) – Dallas, TX – Up to $200K + Bonus – Hybrid Work Schedule
About the Opportunity:
A well-established MEP consulting firm is seeking a licensed Sr. Electrical Engineer (PE) to lead electrical design initiatives in their Dallas office. With a focus on commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects, this role offers high-impact responsibilities, hybrid flexibility, and a path to firm ownership.
Position Details:
- Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer (PE)
- Location: Dallas, TX
- Work Schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, and institutional buildings
- Develop power distribution, lighting, and equipment installation plans using Revit and AutoCAD
- Conduct engineering assessments to evaluate system capacity and recommend upgrades
- Review short circuit and arc flash analysis for compliance and safety
- Collaborate with mechanical and architectural teams on integrated design solutions
- Participate in client meetings to review concepts and provide technical consultation
- Author technical documentation, including specifications, sequences of operation, and testing reports
Ideal Candidate:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with prior experience in electrical system design
- Expertise in commercial, healthcare, or institutional project environments
- Strong command of Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical analysis tools
- Knowledge of NEC, energy codes, and low-voltage systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $120,000 – $200,000 (Depending on Experience)
