A leading MEP consulting firm is seeking a licensed Sr. Electrical Engineer (PE) with expertise in science and technology facility design. Based in Minneapolis, this role offers the opportunity to lead electrical systems engineering on cutting-edge laboratory, research, and technology-focused buildings. Position Details:

• Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer (PE)
• Location: Minneapolis, MN
• Work Schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
• Industry Focus: Science and Technology Projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of electrical systems for science and technology buildings
• Evaluate existing power and low-voltage systems to assess capacity and performance
• Design electrical infrastructure including power distribution, lighting, and equipment installations
• Review short circuit and arc flash analyses to ensure safety and compliance
• Design low-voltage systems including controls, instrumentation, life safety, security, and telecommunications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams for integrated project delivery
• Interface with clients during design reviews and technical consultations
• Develop comprehensive documentation: specifications, sequences of operation, testing procedures, and reports

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with prior experience in electrical building systems
• Proven background in science and technology projects such as labs, research facilities, or clean rooms
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical system design tools
• Strong knowledge of NEC and relevant industry standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 (Depending on Experience)
