Registered Roofing Consultant/Engineer – Boston Metro – Up to $120K + Benefits + Unlimited PTO

Position Details:
- Title: Registered Roofing Consultant/Engineer
- Location: Greater Boston, MA area
- Work Environment: Mix of field and office work
- Territory: Boston metro, Cambridge, Eastern MA, New England
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 (DOE)
- Bonus: Annual end-of-year bonus based on company performance

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage roofing and building envelope projects across a variety of structures
- Apply engineering or architectural skills in the field and office on structures ranging from new builds to 150+ year-old facilities
- Perform design calculations for roofing, waterproofing, and envelope systems
- Conduct condition assessments, forensic evaluations, and feasibility studies
- Create detailed technical drawings and construction documents
- Attend and participate in pre-bid and pre-construction meetings
- Provide bid assistance and construction administration support throughout the project lifecycle
- Stay current on building codes, renovation practices, and industry standards
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success
- Support testing and diagnostics to verify system and material performance
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in building envelope or roofing consulting
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Must hold an active RRC (Registered Roofing Consultant) certification
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Comfortable working on-site and in-office, managing multiple projects simultaneously
