About the Opportunity:
A leading provider of mission-critical engineering and commissioning services is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Agent III to join its Atlanta-based team. This role is responsible for leading and executing the commissioning of data center electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will work on complex projects, interface directly with clients, and play a key role in delivering mission-critical infrastructure at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute commissioning of electrical systems including generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and other critical equipment
- Review client design packages and test documentation
- Develop and maintain commissioning plans, logs, equipment checklists, test procedures, and comprehensive reports
- Manage project schedules, resources, and multidisciplinary teams in a quality-controlled environment
- Oversee FAT and integrated system testing, load bank testing, and Level 1–5 testing protocols
- Participate in daily commissioning meetings, site walks, and field troubleshooting as needed
- Interface with clients, contractors, engineers, equipment vendors, and internal staff
- Ensure all work meets IEEE, ASHRAE, and applicable industry standards
- Train and lead junior staff and external resources as necessary
Ideal Candidate:
- 8–10 years of experience in engineering, with prior data center or mission-critical project experience required
- Strong expertise in testing and commissioning electrical systems in critical facilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Microsoft Project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- US Citizenship required
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience preferred
Physical Demands:
- Occasionally move objects up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance as needed
- Visual acuity to perform detailed work
Travel:
- Willingness to travel up to 75%
