A leading provider of mission-critical engineering and commissioning services is seeking a skilled Mechanical Commissioning Agent III to join its Northern Virginia team. This role is responsible for executing commissioning of complex mechanical systems in data centers, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency. - Pay Range: $83,492 – $125,292 per year (negotiable, based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Lead commissioning of mechanical systems such as CRAC, AHUs, humidifiers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, exhaust fans, and more
- Review design packages, specifications, submittals, and testing documentation
- Develop and maintain commissioning plans, test procedures, checklists, logs, and comprehensive reports
- Participate in pre-start-up, start-up, integrated system testing, load bank testing, and Level 3 equipment testing
- Attend daily commissioning meetings and interface with clients, contractors, engineers, and vendors
- Verify test results and assist with field troubleshooting as needed
- Ensure adherence to quality control processes, OSHA safety standards, and industry best practices
- Contribute to preparation of O&M documentation for data center mechanical systems
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in engineering or commissioning roles, with mission-critical/data center project experience required
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in engineering preferred, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with IEEE/ASHRAE protocols and complex facility systems a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform field work as required
- US Citizenship required
