About the Opportunity:
A leading NETA-certified testing and power services provider is seeking a
Technical Project Manager to oversee electrical testing, maintenance,
and commissioning projects. This role is ideal for someone with field
experience as a Relay or NETA Technician who is ready to transition into
project management. The position is fully remote, based in the Northeast,
with competitive pay, strong benefits, and bonus potential.
Position Details:
- Title: Technical Project Manager

- Compensation: Up to $145,000 (Flexible) + Discretionary Bonus
- Type: Full-Time, Remote
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical testing and maintenance projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
- Work directly with clients, providing technical expertise in electrical and power systems.
- Create change orders and manage project scope adjustments as needed.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor project expenses and progress, ensuring timely completion.
- Interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Relay Technician, NETA Technician, or in a power-related role.
- Licensed Electrician with strong knowledge of electrical systems.
- Experience in project management within commercial or industrial construction industries.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Industries & Services:
Projects include Data Centers, Battery Energy Storage, Renewable Energy,
Commercial, Industrial, Gas Plants, and Generation. Work involves
both new build and retrofit projects. Services span Field Services,
Engineering, Emergency Support, Project Management, and Training.
