Responsibilities:

• Develop mechanical designs and prepare stamped construction documents (drawings and specifications).
• Conduct on-site assessments and analyze existing systems to inform design decisions.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations.
• Select HVAC equipment and prepare schedules.
• Design and size HVAC ductwork and piping systems.
• Coordinate designs with automation, structural, and electrical teams.
• Lead and manage engineering staff on assigned projects.
• Conduct technical audits of building systems.
• Collaborate with energy engineers on audits and savings calculations using modeling software.
• Support sales efforts through client visits and technical presentations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP software.

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – open to out-of-state licenses, with support provided for CO licensure.
• Experience in mechanical engineering, HVAC design, energy management, and controls optimization.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work across disciplines and deliver high-quality retrofit solutions.
