Position Details

• Title: HVAC Estimator
• Location: Edina, MN
• Salary: $125,000 – $160,000+ (based on experience)
• Employment: Full-time, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Generate take-offs, schedules, and project estimates for HVAC mechanical projects.
• Develop detailed estimation documents and spreadsheets for proposed projects.
• Communicate budget estimates effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical assistance to the sales team during preconstruction and presales phases.
• Compile equipment lists and estimate labor costs accurately.
• Obtain and evaluate scopes of work and pricing information from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review vendor equipment submittals to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Demonstrate proficiency in planning, specifying, and evaluating mechanical engineering equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret HVAC engineering drawings, specifications, RFQs, RFPs, and bidding documents.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support business development.
