Position Details

• Title: Plumbing and Piping Estimator
• Location: Edina, MN
• Salary: $125,000 – $160,000+ (based on experience)
• Employment: Full-time, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed plumbing and piping estimates for HVAC and MEP projects
• Generate take-offs, schedules, and project estimates
• Develop estimation documents and spreadsheets for proposed projects
• Effectively communicate budget estimates to internal and external stakeholders
• Provide technical assistance to the sales team throughout the preconstruction phase
• Compile equipment lists and estimate labor costs
• Solicit and review scopes of work and pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
• Review vendor equipment submittals for accuracy and completeness
• Plan, specify, and assess mechanical equipment and system values
• Interpret HVAC engineering drawings, specifications, RFQs, RFPs, and bidding documents
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships
