Position Details

• Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer
• Location: Plymouth, MN (Hybrid remote flexibility once established)
• Salary: $90,000–$115,000 (DOE)
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Travel: Up to 30% for site visits and client meetings

Candidate Requirements

• 8–10+ years of electrical engineering experience
• EIT required; PE license strongly preferred
• Strong background in electrical power system design and infrastructure projects
• Extensive Revit experience for building and site electrical systems
• Ability to lead project teams and interface with clients
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC, and life-safety codes

Key Responsibilities

• Lead LV/MV power distribution design for medical, industrial, utility, and commercial facilities
• Perform load flow, short-circuit, arc flash, harmonics, and coordination studies
• Create engineering drawings, specifications, and data sheets
• Size and select electrical equipment and approve final designs
• Support construction, startup, and commissioning activities
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams
• Manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and deliverables
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Assist with proposals and business development efforts
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
