Position Details
- Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer
- Location: Plymouth, MN (Hybrid remote flexibility once established)
- Salary: $90,000–$115,000 (DOE)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Travel: Up to 30% for site visits and client meetings
Candidate Requirements
- 8–10+ years of electrical engineering experience
- EIT required; PE license strongly preferred
- Strong background in electrical power system design and infrastructure projects
- Extensive Revit experience for building and site electrical systems
- Ability to lead project teams and interface with clients
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC, and life-safety codes
Key Responsibilities
- Lead LV/MV power distribution design for medical, industrial, utility, and commercial facilities
- Perform load flow, short-circuit, arc flash, harmonics, and coordination studies
- Create engineering drawings, specifications, and data sheets
- Size and select electrical equipment and approve final designs
- Support construction, startup, and commissioning activities
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Assist with proposals and business development efforts
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
