HVAC Service Manager to lead and develop its service department. This role oversees a large team of technicians

Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years of HVAC experience in the commercial or industrial service sector
- Strong HVAC technical background and ability to support technicians on complex issues
- Positive, hands-on leadership style with excellent communication skills
- Mentorship-focused; available and supportive to technicians
- Experience overseeing a service team preferred, but strong technical leaders will be considered
- Ideal for someone coming from a union or field-service background looking to transition into leadership
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HVAC service department, including dispatch, field technicians, and support staff
- Provide technical guidance on complex service and repair issues
- Plan, assign, and coordinate technician schedules to meet service demands
- Oversee training, performance reviews, and staff development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and operational procedures
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure prompt, high-quality service delivery
- Review and approve service documentation including quotes, work orders, and time reports
- Manage inventory, parts procurement, and vendor relationships
- Monitor budgets, financial performance, and departmental KPIs
- Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance and customer contracts
