A leading turnkey mechanical solutions provider in the oil and gas industry is hiring an experienced Industrial HVAC Service Technician to join their team in Houston. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-spec HVAC and pressurization systems across domestic and international energy sites.
The position includes hands-on service, installation, and diagnostics of complex HVAC systems, with 50% travel including assignments in the Middle East and South Africa. What’s Offered
- Hourly Pay: $35.00 – $41.00/hr
- Total Expected Earnings: $110,000 – $150,000+ (with abundant OT and international uplift)
- Schedule: 7 days/week, 12-hour shifts when deployed
- Travel: 60% Houston Gulf Region, 40% International (Middle East, South Africa)
- Time Away: Up to 2–3 weeks at a time

Role Overview
The Industrial HVAC Technician will install, service, and repair high-end industrial HVAC equipment used in critical environments such as offshore platforms, chemical plants, and electrical buildings. The role also includes customer communication, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance while traveling extensively in the U.S. Gulf region and abroad.
Responsibilities Include:
- Install, maintain, and repair DX systems, chillers, chemical filtration units, pressurization units, and PLC-controlled HVAC systems
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of fire dampers, heaters, and sensors
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding project timelines and updates
- Work independently in demanding environments, including offshore rigs and industrial facilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and system testing
- Operate forklifts and handle heavy equipment safely
- Follow OSHA and site-specific safety protocols at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in industrial HVAC servicing or installation
- Familiarity with DX, chiller systems (air/water-cooled), and PLC controls
- Must have: Universal EPA, TWIC, Basic Plus (HASC/ISTC), HUET (or willing to obtain)
- Strong safety awareness and ability to travel up to 50%
- Knowledge of offshore and hazardous area requirements is a major plus
