Job Details
- Position: Plumbing Engineer
- Location: Chicago, IL (Remote/Hybrid Options)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and oversee plumbing system projects from concept to completion
- Prepare design evaluations and lead plumbing-specific engineering deliverables
- Conduct engineering analysis including equipment selection, budgeting, and life cycle cost assessments
- Design hot/cold water, waste/vent, and gas systems along with associated calculations
- Create construction documents using Revit or AutoCAD
- Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and project specifications
- Coordinate with internal disciplines and external consultants to align project scope
- Conduct site visits for surveys, QA/QC, and progress reviews
What you bring:
- 3+ years of experience as a Plumbing Engineer or in a similar MEP-focused role
- Expertise in Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Strong technical understanding of plumbing codes and building systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
