Job Details

• Position: Plumbing Engineer
• Location: Chicago, IL (Remote/Hybrid Options)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and oversee plumbing system projects from concept to completion
• Prepare design evaluations and lead plumbing-specific engineering deliverables
• Conduct engineering analysis including equipment selection, budgeting, and life cycle cost assessments
• Design hot/cold water, waste/vent, and gas systems along with associated calculations
• Create construction documents using Revit or AutoCAD
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and project specifications
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external consultants to align project scope
• Conduct site visits for surveys, QA/QC, and progress reviews

What you bring:

• 3+ years of experience as a Plumbing Engineer or in a similar MEP-focused role
• Expertise in Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Strong technical understanding of plumbing codes and building systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
