Job Details
- Position: Electrical Engineer
- Location: Chicago, IL (Remote/Hybrid Flexibility)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage electrical systems and project execution
- Prepare electrical drawings and layouts using Revit or AutoCAD
- Perform load calculations for service size, power distribution, voltage, and lighting
- Design emergency power systems and lighting layouts for various facility types
- Conduct site visits for surveying and evaluation of electrical infrastructure
- Produce construction documents from concept through completion
- Review and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications
- Manage deadlines and coordinate effectively in a fast-paced team environment
What you bring:
- 3+ years of experience in the MEP field
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Experience working on commercial or mixed-use projects
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, lighting, power distribution, and fire protection integration
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with internal and external teams
