Job Details
- Position: Mechanical Service PM/Salesperson
- Location: Fremont, CA (Bay Area)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead all phases of mechanical service projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain client relationships; manage key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Generate project estimates, quotes, and proposals based on system evaluations and customer needs
- Issue subcontracts and purchase orders; ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials
- Perform site walks to assess HVAC/mechanical systems and identify upgrade opportunities
- Review and maintain project budgets; monitor labor and resource allocation
- Oversee manpower loading, project scheduling, and forecasting of labor needs
- Collaborate with field teams to coordinate equipment delivery and installation timelines
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and all documentation related to service work
- Drive service sales by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts
- Train and mentor junior staff or assistant PMs
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets
What you bring:
- 3+ years in Mechanical Service Project Management or Account Management
- Proven ability to manage complex HVAC and mechanical projects
- Experience in sales, estimating, and client relationship development
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and service workflows
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills
