Job Details

• Position: HVAC Designer
• Location: Springfield, MA

Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC and mechanical systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Ensure compliance with building codes and internal standards
• Perform load calculations and system sizing
• Develop detailed layout drawings for ductwork, piping, and equipment placement using CAD software
• Conduct site walkthroughs to gather data and assess project requirements
• Select appropriate equipment and materials for system designs
• Prepare technical documentation including schematics and equipment schedules
• Analyze plans and specs to identify issues and recommend cost-effective design solutions
• Oversee installation through site visits to ensure quality and accuracy

What you bring:

• 10+ years of HVAC design experience
• Proficiency in Revit and CAD-based design
• Strong understanding of HVAC system layouts and mechanical codes
• Experience working on commercial and industrial mechanical projects
