Job Details

• Position: Lead VDC Coordinator
• Location: Springfield, MA

Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate layout and fabrication drawings for plumbing, HVAC, and process systems using CAD/Revit
• Collaborate with the Lead Coordinator and Virtual Construction Manager to meet design objectives
• Lead coordination efforts and participate in project meetings
• Review and update contract drawings, submittals, and RFI documentation
• Produce fabrication drawings and detailed material takeoffs
• Interpret and solve layout and routing challenges across multiple systems (HVAC, plumbing, underground)
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using BIM tools
• Review equipment submittals for layout accuracy and compliance

What you bring:

• 10+ years of experience in HVAC/VDC coordination or related role
• Proficiency in Revit and coordination software (e.g., Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP)
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction drawings
• Ability to manage coordination processes and produce accurate fabrication documentation
