This role focuses on maintaining, commissioning, and troubleshooting power distribution equipment within large-scale data center environments.

• Title: Switchgear Technician (Critical Systems Specialist)

• Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 + Bonus + Overtime

What You’ll Do:

• Install, commission, and maintain mission-critical switchgear and power distribution systems
• Perform QA/QC inspections, preventative maintenance, and system function testing
• Troubleshoot power systems, UPS, transformers, relay panels, and monitoring equipment
• Develop MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs for complex infrastructure
• Coordinate site visits, factory punch lists, and project closeout documentation
• Interface with engineering, vendors, and project managers
• Contribute to customer training and documentation handoff

What You Bring:

• 7+ years of electrical service experience (mission critical environment preferred)
• Expertise with switchgear, UPS, PLCs, and electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to read one-line diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• U.S. Citizenship (required due to client security requirements)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience with QA/QC, commissioning, and technical reporting
• NETA or NICET Level II/III certification preferred (not required)
