Position Details:

• Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer
• Location: Cincinnati, OH
• Work Schedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 remote)
• Status: Full-Time

Ideal Candidate:

• 10+ years of mechanical/HVAC building systems design experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology – preferred
• PE license – required (or obtainable within 1 year)
• Proficient in Revit and/or BIM – required
• Experience in load calculations, energy modeling, and simulations
• Skilled in HVAC system design: 4-pipe, VAV, geothermal, etc.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to mentor junior staff and manage cross-discipline coordination

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HVAC system design from concept through construction documents
• Collaborate on sustainable design strategies and life-cycle cost analyses
• Perform load calculations and energy simulations using tools like Trane Trace
• Produce detailed construction documents and permit drawings
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and interior designers
• Oversee quality control and documentation standards
• Manage client relationships and consultant coordination
• Assist with facility assessments and energy audits

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000+ (DOE)
• Bonus: Profit Sharing (4–10% of base salary)
