We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support our growing Orlando team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives on delivering custom, high-impact engineering solutions for clients in public sector, life sciences, entertainment, and manufacturing environments.

Position Details:

• Title: Mechanical Engineer
• Location: Orlando, FL
• Salary: $90,000 – $95,000 (Dependent on Experience)
• Status: Full-Time | In-Office | 35% Local Travel

Responsibilities:

• Lead or support small project planning, scheduling, and budgeting efforts
• Coordinate internal project team tasks and ensure clarity of deliverables
• Support procurement, subcontractor coordination, and change order preparation
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical development
• Perform hazard analysis and mitigate risks in system design
• Optimize mechanical reliability and reduce single points of failure
• Design and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks for mechanical design and layout documentation
• Conduct stress, fatigue, and tolerance analyses
• Create detailed documentation including theory of operation, test plans, and design summaries
• Support ride system design for entertainment clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, ideally in public sector or life sciences
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks preferred
• U.S. Citizen required; must pass background check and drug screen

• Base Salary: $90,000 – $95,000
