We are actively seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-established and reputable mechanical construction firm in the Denver metro area. Position Details:

• Title: Estimator
• Location: Thornton, CO
• Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000+ DOE
• Status: Full-Time | Overtime Eligible

Ideal Candidate:

• 1-5+ years of estimating experience in HVAC, plumbing, and process piping
• Experience on institutional, healthcare, laboratory, brewery, and industrial projects
• Ability to lead estimates up to $1M independently
• Proficient in reading drawings, specs, and bid documents
• Skilled with take-offs, labor/material forecasting, and pricing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Bluebeam
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HVAC/Mechanical/Plumbing estimates up to $1M
• Support senior estimators on larger projects as needed
• Prepare take-offs, labor hours, and material costs
• Compile estimates, schedules, and proposal documents
• Review submittals and supplier/vendor scopes for accuracy
• Develop value engineering options where applicable
• Support sales and preconstruction teams with technical estimating
• Assist with change orders and cost tracking
• Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and vendors
