Sr. Electrical Engineer – Jacksonville, NC
$90,000 - $125,000 + Semi-Annual Bonuses + 100% Paid Benefits
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer to provide oversight and leadership on large-scale federal construction projects in eastern North Carolina. This individual will play a vital role in reviewing electrical designs, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring quality execution of electrical installations for complex facilities.

Position Details:
- Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer
- Location: Jacksonville, NC
- Status: Full-Time | Overtime Eligible
- Travel: Occasional, as needed within Eastern NC
Ideal Candidate:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
- 10–20+ years of experience on large-scale construction projects
- Experience in federal, commercial, and/or industrial projects
- Strong working knowledge of electrical ICT scope and QA practices
- Preferred certifications: RCDD, CMC-Q, OSHA 30
Key Responsibilities:
- Review electrical design documents and specifications for completeness and constructability
- Evaluate RFIs, design bulletins, submittals, and as-builts related to electrical work
- Conduct daily QA site visits and monitor construction progress
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and report on risk, schedule, and quality concerns
- Assess cost, material selections, and feasibility of electrical installations
- Coordinate with owners, contractors, engineers, and design teams to ensure adherence to scope
- Ensure systems are installed according to project milestones and inspection requirements
- Support government personnel in contract administration and field oversight
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 (based on experience)
