We are seeking a motivated Plumbing Engineer to join our Indianapolis team. Position Overview:
- Title: Plumbing Engineer
- Location: Indianapolis, IN
- Salary: $75,000 – $80,000+ DOE
- Workload: 75% in-office, 25% client sites (with senior engineer or PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and specify piping distribution systems for various commercial, healthcare, and institutional properties
- Perform plumbing load calculations and fixture counts
- Apply applicable plumbing and fire protection codes and standards
- Coordinate with other MEP systems and project stakeholders
- Participate in site visits and prepare survey reports
- Attend design meetings and collaborate closely with senior engineers and project managers
- Review and respond to submittals, drawings, and RFIs
- Work proficiently with Revit (required), experience in AutoCAD is a plus but not primary
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience in plumbing design or engineering
- Degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems
- Experience using Revit in a professional setting
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
