A Data Center Technology provider is seeking a Commissioning Specialist to join their growing team in the Tulsa, OK metro. This role is ideal for candidates with electrical or controls experience looking to transition into the data center space with a clear path to become an Application Engineer. The company is an established leader in the mission-critical and enterprise tech sector.
Position Details:
- Title: Commissioning Specialist
- Location: Tulsa, OK Metro
- Travel: Moderate (initial 3–6 months travel-based training; mostly local after)
- Status: Full-Time
Ideal Candidate:
- 2–3+ years of electrical, controls, or commissioning experience
- Strong troubleshooting and field communication skills
- Understanding of TCP/IP, Modbus, BACnet protocols
- Experience with EPMS or SCADA systems is a plus
- Customer-facing experience and professionalism in high-stakes environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission, configure, and troubleshoot Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
- Install and integrate EPMS with various systems in data centers
- Connect EPMS to devices and systems using communication protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, BACnet)
- Create custom reports and dashboards for end-users
- Train customers on EPMS usage and functionality
Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated Compensation: $70,000 – $99,000 (Base: $70–$75K + Bonus + Overtime)
- Bonus: 5% Annual
- Overtime: Paid from departure to return home during travel
