About the Opportunity:

An award-winning design-build firm is seeking a motivated Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join its Atlanta office. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical design expert to work on impactful building projects across a wide range of sectors. This position offers remote flexibility, unlimited PTO, and the chance to lead engineering efforts within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Position Details:

• Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer
• Location: Atlanta, GA
• Status: Full-Time | Hybrid (Typically Remote Mondays & Fridays)

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced Mechanical Engineer with design background in commercial/institutional buildings
• Skilled in mechanical and plumbing system design and engineering analysis
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD (required)
• PE license preferred but not required
• Strong working knowledge of building codes and mechanical/plumbing regulations
• Capable of collaborating with other internal and external disciplines

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design efforts for design-build and retrofit projects
• Prepare system layouts, calculations, and energy code compliance documentation
• Perform mechanical evaluations, equipment selection, and budget analyses
• Develop lifecycle cost studies and technical reports
• Coordinate with architects, electrical and plumbing engineers, and external consultants
• Conduct occasional site visits for QA/QC reviews and construction coordination

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $90,000–$130,000 (DOE)
