About the Opportunity:

A large mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Outside HVAC Retrofit Sales professional to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong network in the region and experience selling retrofit HVAC projects to commercial clients. You’ll be responsible for driving new business and managing project opportunities from concept to close.

Position Details:

• Title: Outside HVAC Retrofit Sales
• Location: Atlanta, GA
• Compensation: $85,000 – $115,000 Base + Commission
• Territory: Atlanta metro and surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities and grow relationships with current clients
• Engage with contractors, engineers, and end users to identify and pursue project opportunities
• Estimate and price retrofit HVAC projects, including equipment, labor, and material costs
• Review and validate project specifications and customer requirements
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
• Track and manage project sales pipeline, activities, and reports
• Conduct site visits and client meetings regularly

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in outside sales within the commercial HVAC or mechanical systems industry
• Strong understanding of retrofit HVAC solutions and sales cycles
• Comfortable with estimating, proposals, and project coordination
• Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills
