About the Opportunity:
A leading manufacturers’ representative firm is seeking a Manufacturer’s Sales Consultant to oversee HVAC/R product line sales throughout Southern California. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with experience in HVAC/R distribution and a strong ability to develop distributor and contractor relationships across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
Position Details:
Title: Manufacturer’s Sales Consultant
Location: Southern California (Hybrid Role)
Travel: Local travel within LA, Orange, and San Diego Counties
Key Responsibilities:
Represent HVAC/R product lines to distributors, contractors, and engineering firms
Promote products to increase brand awareness and regional market share
Lead educational product training for distributor partners
Support sales efforts through engagement and field visits
Provide technical support and product consultations
Develop strategic accounts and identify new business opportunities
Contribute to the overall sales growth in Southern California
Ideal Candidate
3+ years in HVAC/R sales, technical sales, or manufacturers’ representation
Comfortable with 70–80% residential and 20–30% commercial/industrial focus
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-motivated with a team-first attitude
Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary:</strong> Up to $150,000 (DOE)
