Commissioning Agent – San Jose, CA – $120K–$145K+ Base Salary – Hybrid Schedule + Half-Day Fridays

Position Details:
- Title: Commissioning Agent
- Location: San Jose, CA
- Type: Full-Time | Hybrid
Hybrid Schedule:
- In-Office: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (unless at jobsite)
- Remote: Tuesday, Friday
- Hours: 9-hour days (Mon–Thurs), 4 hours on Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, checklists, and functional performance tests
- Review project design documents and submittals to ensure alignment with performance and sustainability objectives
- Lead and track issue resolution across project phases
- Perform on-site inspections and system verification
- Prepare reports summarizing commissioning progress, issue resolution, energy savings, and training documentation
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience in building systems commissioning or HVAC/MEP testing
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration
- Hands-on technical skills and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- LEED, CxA, or related certifications are a plus

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $120,000–$145,000+ (DOE)
