Commissioning Agent – Long Beach, CA – $105K–$130K+ Base Salary – Hybrid Schedule + Half-Day Fridays

Position Details:

• Title: Commissioning Agent
• Location: Long Beach, CA
• Type: Full-Time | Hybrid

Hybrid Schedule:

• In-Office: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (unless at jobsite)
• Remote: Tuesday, Friday
• Hours: 9-hour days (Mon–Thurs), 4 hours on Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement commissioning plans, checklists, and performance test procedures
• Review submittals and design documents for alignment with project goals and sustainability requirements
• Monitor project phases and track resolution of commissioning issues
• Verify performance of HVAC, electrical, and building systems
• Document findings and prepare commissioning reports
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle

Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years of experience in commissioning, building systems testing, or MEP field work
• Proficient in HVAC and MEP systems performance verification
• Strong communication and project coordination skills
• LEED, CxA, or similar certifications a plus
