Accounting Associate – Edina, MN – $60K–$75K Base Salary

A well-established and reputable mechanical company in Edina, MN is hiring an Accounting Associate to support its growing finance and operations team. Position Details:

• Title: Accounting Associate
• Location: Edina, MN
• Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily deposits and cash receipts; reconcile and post payments to the appropriate job or general ledger accounts
• Handle AR tasks, including collection calls, credit card processing, and customer account setup
• Enter and price weekly inventory using Sage 300
• Maintain vehicle reports and manage gas card administration
• Support payroll processes, including time entry and PTO/expense tracking
• Provide backup coverage for receptionist duties and general administrative tasks
• Assist with audit responses and W-9 documentation as needed

Ideal Candidate:

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, AP/AR, or general ledger roles
• Experience with accounting software (Sage 300 preferred)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative team player
• Strong communication and time management skills
