A full-service mechanical and electrical consulting firm is seeking a licensed Sr. Mechanical Engineer (PE) to lead HVAC system design projects in Rochester, MN. Position Details:

• Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer (PE)
• Location: Rochester, MN
• Work Schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical design of HVAC systems for commercial, healthcare, and institutional facilities
• Oversee production of detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools
• Perform load calculations, energy analysis, and equipment selection in accordance with project needs and code requirements
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver fully integrated solutions
• Conduct client meetings to present and refine project concepts and strategies
• Develop documentation including P&IDs, sequences of operation, test plans, and specifications
• Provide support during construction, including site verification, RFI responses, inspections, and submittal reviews

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with prior experience in HVAC system design
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and mechanical design standards
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead design teams
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $115,000 – $180,000 (Depending on Experience)
