Technical Project Manager – Remote (Eastern Time Zone) – Up to $145K + Bonus – NETA/Relay Background Preferred
About the Opportunity:
A leading NETA-certified power services firm is seeking a Technical Project Manager with a background in electrical testing, NETA field work, or relay testing. This is a fully remote opportunity (Eastern Time Zone preferred) for someone ready to transition from the field into a leadership and coordination role, managing complex electrical service projects across commercial, industrial, and renewable energy sectors.
Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full lifecycle of power system projects—from planning and resource scheduling to execution and closeout
- Interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation to support project success
- Collaborate with internal engineering, field service, and support teams to define project scope, deliverables, and milestones
- Provide technical expertise to clients regarding electrical testing, commissioning, or power systems design
- Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources
- Create and manage change orders and scope adjustments as needed
- Coordinate material acquisition, equipment delivery, and logistics to maintain project schedules
- Track project performance and deliver regular updates to leadership and clients
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a NETA Technician, Relay Technician, or in a related power systems field role (required)
- Strong familiarity with field testing, commissioning, or electrical maintenance processes
- Previous experience in technical project management is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while coordinating with multiple teams
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Up to $145,000 (Flexible based on experience)
