About the Opportunity:

A premier HVAC and mechanical contractor in Georgia is seeking a General Manager to lead operations at their Macon, GA location. This high-impact role reports to the Regional President and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, financial performance, client relationships, and staff leadership. The right candidate will have strong construction business acumen and HVAC experience, with 10+ years of leadership in mechanical construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and strategic direction 
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, GCs, engineers, and subcontractors
• Review and approve all project proposals and cost estimates
• Oversee contract negotiation and ensure risk mitigation
• Manage smooth transitions from estimating to construction
• Conduct weekly project meetings with superintendents and PMs
• Lead monthly cost-to-complete reviews and ensure profitability
• Oversee site safety culture and compliance with the Safety Manager
• Ensure quality, financial performance, and customer satisfaction across all projects

Ideal Candidate:

• 10–15+ years of experience managing mechanical construction
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, construction workflows, and financials
• Proven leadership in managing teams, safety, and profitability
• Excellent client-facing and negotiation skills
