About the Opportunity:

A national leader in HVAC, Data Center Optimization, and Building Automation Solutions is seeking a Data Center Controls Specialist for its growing Denver, CO team. This hybrid role supports data center clients with commissioning and integration of advanced control systems including BAS, SCADA, DCIM, and EPMS. The position includes an estimated 30% travel to high-profile sites across the U.S.

Position Details:

• Title: Data Center Controls Specialist
• Location: Denver, CO (70% local/on-site, ~30% travel)
• Travel Destinations: Ashburn VA, Atlanta GA, New York NY, Minneapolis MN, Denver CO, San Diego CA
• Salary: $85,000–$145,000 (Depending on Experience) + 10% Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and commission integrated systems: BAS, SCADA, DCIM, and EPMS
• Commission and troubleshoot Tridium/Niagara and other proprietary control platforms
• Perform system diagnostics, device point-to-point checkout, and sequence rewrites
• Integrate systems using Modbus, BACnet, TCP/IP, and other protocols
• Install and program DDC controllers, sensors, relays, and control panels
• Calibrate and test sensors and actuators for accuracy
• Log commissioning activities and maintain detailed system documentation

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years experience in BAS, SCADA, DCIM, or EPMS systems (data center preferred)
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, and automation integration
• Experience with Tridium/Niagara is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

Offered Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $85,000–$145,000 + 10% Bonus
