Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair low, medium, and high voltage switchgear equipment
• Perform functional testing and commissioning of switchgear systems
• Inspect and troubleshoot circuit breakers, relays, transformers, and related components
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical switchgear systems
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards
• Operate test equipment such as insulation resistance testers, multimeters, and circuit analyzers
• Document all test results, inspections, and repairs accurately
• Support system upgrades and retrofits for legacy switchgear equipment

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced Switchgear Technician or similar field role
• Comfortable with travel across the U.S. and field-based assignments
• Strong understanding of switchgear components, commissioning, and safety protocols
• Hands-on skills and diagnostic troubleshooting capabilities
