Position:

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low, medium, and high voltage switchgear equipment
- Perform functional testing and commissioning of switchgear systems
- Inspect and troubleshoot circuit breakers, relays, transformers, and related components
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical switchgear systems
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards
- Operate test equipment such as insulation resistance testers, multimeters, and circuit analyzers
- Document all test results, inspections, and repairs accurately
- Support system upgrades and retrofits for legacy switchgear equipment
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced Switchgear Technician or similar field role
- Comfortable with travel across the U.S. and field-based assignments
- Strong understanding of switchgear components, commissioning, and safety protocols
- Hands-on skills and diagnostic troubleshooting capabilities
