• Service Radius: Within 70 miles of shop (rare overnight travel)

Position Details:

• Title: Boiler Field Technician (a.k.a. Fully Metered Technician)
• Status: Full-Time | Union Role (Boilermakers Local 549)

• Pay: Up to $70/hour (higher possible for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and service 3-element feedwater control systems for boiler applications
• Configure, tune, and maintain fully metered boiler control systems
• Service and install O₂ trim systems across diverse boiler setups
• Install and commission SCR systems based on application requirements
• Interpret and modify block logic programming for compliance and safety
• Identify and resolve device communication and logic issues
• Calibrate and service draft control systems
• Repair and maintain all types of burner systems (premix, staged, rapid mix)
• Travel frequently to customer sites (mostly within region, occasional domestic travel)

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with boiler systems, burner management, and combustion tuning
• 3+ years of burner service experience using various combustion methods
• Experience using PLCs and block logic for combustion control
• Strong diagnostic, calibration, and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to travel and perform field service work
• Union membership or willingness to join required
