Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for plan/spec, design-build, or design-assist projects.
• Develop proposals and drawings to define project scope and estimated components.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and project documentation to prepare cost, time, and labor estimates.
• Perform detailed takeoffs to generate accurate cost estimates aligned with project scope.
• Review proposal specifications and ensure all scope requirements are captured.
• Evaluate design alternatives and recommend solutions based on cost and material availability.
• Prepare and present proposals for current and prospective clients.
• Analyze labor, material, and resource requirements to identify cost-efficient options.

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior experience as a Mechanical Estimator or in a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge in two or more disciplines (plumbing, piping, or sheet metal).
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills for internal collaboration and client presentations.
