Plumbing Engineer to join its growing team.

Position Details:
- Title: Plumbing Engineer
- Location: Houston, TX
- Compensation: $115K–$130K (DOE)
- Status: Immediate Hire
- Travel: Project-related site visits
Responsibilities:
- Design plumbing systems in AutoCAD and Revit using engineering principles and calculations.
- Independently prepare and edit project specifications and technical documentation.
- Review and approve plumbing construction documents (shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, addendums).
- Conduct site visits and generate field reports to confirm system compliance with designs.
- Apply strong knowledge of building codes and client design standards.
- Design and oversee commercial plumbing systems: domestic water, sanitary, storm, fire protection, gas, compressed air, and specialty gases.
- Manage medium to large-scale projects (e.g., schools) from initial design through completion.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Assist business development efforts by aligning engineering solutions with client goals.
- Stay current with evolving plumbing technologies and industry best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam.
- Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in Texas, or licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- MEP consulting experience with K–12 schools, colleges, or other educational facilities (required).
- Strong background in plumbing design and construction documentation review.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
